Its #BackToSchool time! As a teacher, I love the beginning of the school year. Its like getting a do-over every year! So, in honor of back to school, here are my top recommendations for books with teachers as the main character!
Getting Schooled by Emma Chase
The story is funny and heartwarming and has great, realistic experiences of a high school teacher.
Kevlar to My Vest by Lani Lynn Vale
Viddy is a special education teacher!
Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren
Hazel teaches 3rd grade. Its a perfect fit for this quirky girl!
A Pound of Flesh by Sophie Jordan
She is a teacher of adults in a prison! Its unique and slightly taboo.
Oh this is one seriously HOT teacher! Cruz is super swoony and normally, I HATE the student/teacher trope (because as a teacher-GROSS!), but this totally works.
Help me! Do you know other awesome books where the hero or heroine is a teacher? Share in the comments!

Awww, I love teachers in my books so thanks for the list. I love it!
Oh what a fun theme for this weeks TTT! I haven’t read any of these books but I have a few of them on my tbr and definitely need to get to them. Good luck with school starting up again and here’s wishing you a wonderful school year!
I really love books that feature teachers though. I need to grab up the Emma Chase one.
Here is my list. The Last Viking by Sandra Hill, To Professor My Love by Linda Kage, Vision in White by Nora Roberts, Need Me by Tessa Bailey, Inner Harbor by Nora Roberts.
I would add Stripped to this list, as Robyn was a 5th grade teacher, and an Ex for Christmas too. I loved both those books.
Oh yay!!! I am checking these out!
Misconduct by Penelope Douglas
