DIRTY DEALERS is an all-new stand-alone CONTEMPORARY ROMANTIC SUSPENSE coming Jan 24, 2017. It features secrets, lies, double-crosses, angst, a touch of darkness, and panty-melting sexytimes.
I was totally confused when I started Dirty Dealers. It wasn’t until the very end, when there is mention of the previous books in the series I realized it was a series! While its not absolutely necessary to read books 1 and 2 first, it certainly would have been helpful!
Dirty Dealers is the story of Logan, a guard for the King and Queen of a small European country, and Kass, a young woman working as a ‘transportation specialist’ for a drug dealer. Kass has a sad back story: dead mom, absent dad, dead aunt, and a younger brother she suddenly finds herself responsible for. Oh, and she is going blind. Yeah, she has had to struggle a lot. She knew Logan before her aunt died and she had to get a job to care for her brother and they had a very hot love. But, then he joined the military, and her life went to shit. Now, her drug dealing boss, Blix is planning to use this connection to gain access to the royals.
There is a lot of action and drama throughout the story. Deception and partial truths create all kinds of problems between Logan and Kass for the first 1/2 of the book. The second 1/2 of the book is filled with Kass and Ava doing dumb shit and nearly getting themselves killed. The plot is a bit far fetched, so if you like your stories to be more believable, this might not work for you. I enjoyed Kass’s character because she not only has been dealt a crappy hand in life, but she has been losing her sight. I can imagine the terror that must have caused! I was not as enamored with Logan. He was a fine hero, but he didn’t really WOW me, you know? Overall, this was a nice story to escape with and includes plenty of sexy times.
