USA TODAY

bestselling author Alexa Riley's first full-length novel shows just what happens when a strong, possessive man finds the woman of his dreams.

I'll never forget the way she looked, so confident and sure of herself. I watched her from a distance. She wasn't ready for me yet. I didn't approach her and I didn't disturb her, but I never once took my eyes off her.

Mallory Sullivan is ready to start her new life. After graduating at the top of her class, she's landed one of the most coveted internships in the United States. Hard work and determination have gotten her to this moment of living the life she only dreamed of while growing up in foster care.

From the start, I knew that she would be my greatest achievement, so the day I let her go, I set down a path for her. A path to me.

She never expected Oz to be the greatest culmination of those dreams. But sometimes fate determines who you fall in love with. Who makes you lose control. Who owns your soul.
And then you realize it wasn't fate at all…

I've wanted to care for and protect her since the first moment I saw her. I've constructed everything in our lives so that at the perfect moment, I could have her, could give her the life she deserves.

The time has come.

Alexa Riley has finally given us a full length novel and it was everything I wanted. Caveman hero who always makes the grand gesture? Check! Smart heroine who knows herself and what she wants? Check! Everything for Her is everything I have wanted from AR!

So, overall, the story follows the basic AR plot line. Guy sees girl, guy falls in insta-love with girl, guy does everything to get girl, but manages to screw it up at some point and girl leaves, guy wins her back. Oh, and the sex. Lots of it. All of it unprotected so as to get the heroine pregnant ASAP.  Now, because this is full length and not a novella, there is more character development and a deeper storyline. I have always enjoyed the formula of an AR story, so getting more of it is perfect for me.

Miles/Oz is your classic alpha male hero. He sees Mallory, falls in love, and spends years of his life working behind the scenes to make sure her life is perfect. Once they finally meet, he keeps his involvement a secret, which she inevitably finds out. I thought that the thread of possible danger woven into the story via Oz’s father could have been a great climax; however, it all ended a bit anticlimactic for me. I liked the nods to The Wizard of Oz sprinkled throughout as well. Overall all, this story was everything I wanted from this book. It was one of my most anticipated 2016 reads and it didn’t disappoint! If you are an Alexa Riley fan, this book is their Christmas gift to you, and its perfect!

If you want something “safe:” look up an author who knows what they’re writing about. These two women have zero clue what they’re talking about. They write about borderline rape (and NOT the fetish), they romanticize mental illnesses, stalking, demanding. Everything that has a red flag, you’ll find in their books.
