Fiona Lamb has lost everything, and her only option is to work for a reclusive billionaire to get back the one thing that's most important to her.
Reid Gold has been cursed. He's the alpha shifter, but he's unable to change into his wolf and lead his pack. But one scent of his mate and everything changes.
Warning: This beauty and the beast-inspired story is quick, filthy, and over-the-top alpha. Hold on to your Kindles because Reid's inner beast finally gets to come out and play.
Beauty in Winter is the 4th book in a collection of Beauty and the Beast inspired tales by Ella Goode, Ruby Dixon, Kati Wilde, and Alexa Riley. And as you know, if AR writes it, I read it! I have read all the books in the collection as well!
Mix your classic AR trope (insta-love) with a bit of shifter lore and you have Beauty in Winter. Reid is an alpha who is cursed with the inability to shift. Fiona is a girl with no family left and a rose ring that changes her life. This seemed shorter than a normal AR short (which is pretty darn short!) so it certainly left me wanting more. I love Riley’s PNR shorts, so this one was right up my alley. I liked Fiona and Reid-they are classic AR characters (lonely, isolated, alpha). I also thought it was a cute twist on the Beauty and the Beast story with the ‘rose ring’ and Reid’s curse. Overall, cute, satisfying read from Alexa Riley

Books by Ruby Dixon, Fiona Davenport, Frankie Love, Jennika Snow …then you will probably like Beauty in Winter!
I’ve never been a fan of series made up of different authors but this one here intrigues me enough that I might take a chance on it
