A ruthless tycoon
Savage ambition has brought common-born Rhys Winterborne vast wealth and success. In business and beyond, Rhys gets exactly what he wants. And from the moment he meets the shy, aristocratic Lady Helen Ravenel, he is determined to possess her. If he must take her virtue to ensure she marries him, so much the better…
A sheltered beauty
Helen has had little contact with the glittering, cynical world of London society. Yet Rhys’s determined seduction awakens an intense mutual passion. Helen’s gentle upbringing belies a stubborn conviction that only she can tame her unruly husband. As Rhys’s enemies conspire against them, Helen must trust him with her darkest secret. The risks are unthinkable… the reward, a lifetime of incomparable bliss. And it all begins with…

Marrying Winterborne

The Ravenels have totally stolen my heart. I LOVED Cold Hearted Rake and couldn’t wait to dive into Marrying Winterborne. However, apparently, neither could everyone else because I had to wait quite a while for my turn at the library! But, as soon as it was on my kindle, I dropped EVERYTHING (seriously-I had chips for dinner. I don’t know what my husband ate.)

So, Helen has gone to Rhys to convince him to marry her. He agrees-with an interesting caveat. I loved watching Rhys fall in love with Helen. It happens in really unique stages that are so touching. For example, when he is injured and realizes that if he were to have died, Helen would have nothing because they aren’t married yet and he totally panicked. He starts to realize these parts of his life that are changing because of his love for her. But waiting on the wedding is torturous! Devon even makes Helen go back to Evensby Priory, thus keeping her away from Rhys for awhile.

And then Helen discovers something about herself that could change everything. I was terrified for the rest of the book as to how Rhys would perceive it and what could happen. I really love Helen-she is smart and sweet-so I didn’t want anything to take her happiness away. I was surprised at the turn the story took though! It wasn’t what I expected at all!

Kleypas sucked me right back in to the Ravenels! I cannot get enough of this family! I can’t wait to get Pandora’s story! She is hilarious!

“Its the church of shopping.”-Pandora regarding Winterborne’s

Seriously-she is hilarious and I am curious as to the man who could steal her heart.

“You haven’t tried kissing,” Cassandra told her. “You might like it. Helen does.”

“Helen likes Brussels sprouts. How can anyone trust her opinion?”-Pandora
