Best book you’ve read so far this year
So here are 4 of my top reads this year!
Best sequel you’ve read this year
Uh, I don’t think I’ve read a sequel. I guess Wolf Rain, Overnight Sensation, and Shadow Warrior could technically be sequels…
New release you haven’t read yet
I really want to read Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey, Red White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuinston, Securing Sydney by Susan Stoker, and Kickin It by Rachel Van Dyken.
Most anticipated release for 2nd half of 2019
Under Currents by Nora Roberts, Archangel’s War by Nalini Singh, How To Love a Duke in 10 Days by Kerrigan Bryne, and Fallen by Rebecca Zanetti.
Biggest Disappointment so far?
I know this sounds like a cop out, but I haven’t really had one. Maybe because I don’t really take too many risks? I tend to stick with what I know.
Biggest Surprise
Risky Play by Rachel Van Dyken was so much more than I expected! I adored the story! Also, The Highland Earl was a delightful surprise. Not that I thought it would be bad, but I didn’t expect it to become one of my favorite reads!
Favorite New Author
I am interpreting this as favorite NEW TO ME author. So, Karen Hawkins for sure!
Newest Fictional Crush
Alexei from Wolf Rain (grumpy wolf) and Silas from Superfan.
Book that made you Cry
Listen, I don’t read books that make me cry. I just don’t. But, the plot in Enchanted by Lexi Blake had me in tears for the heroine.
Book that made you happy
All books make me happy! But, to be specific:
Favorite book to movie adaptation you saw this year
Does anyone have a favorite? The book is always better!
Favorite Review you’ve written this year
Um, I don’t think I have one I liked more than others. They all feel the same to me!!
Most beautiful book you bought so far this year
All books are beautiful!! But, I have included some pretty pictures in this post that show some beautiful books!
What books do you need to read by the end of 2019
I want to tackle some backlist books of Christine Feehan and Maya Banks! Thats my goal! Also, I want to read my first Devney Perry book because everyone raves about her!
Great book tag. Thank’s for sharing!
TBT was a definitely a high point for me this year. I really need to get that new Bowen book, because everyone is raving about Silas.
Silas from Superfan is definitely a new fictional crush. 🙂 Such a sweetheart! And Devney Perry is high on my list of authors I want to try. Every synopsis of hers that I read grabs me… I just haven’t made it happen yet.
Great tag you have here darling. Do sequels even exist anymore with all the series out there??!!! Karen Hawkins is awesome right? Did you know she was my first romance author that got me hooked in the genre? I have loved her work since I was 16 years old. I hope you love her backlist too.
