This book is an interesting take on the stalker trope. I felt that it was fast paced and engaging! Even though you know from the beginning that she has a stalker, and you think you know who it is, there are still twists that make it fresh! I loved Cole. Katherine does this thing that all the heroines in books like this do-she gets worried that she is putting her man at risk so she bails on him to keep him safe. The guy, who is too stupid to see what she is doing, runs off to lick his wounds. But not Cole! He realizes right away that she is thinking about bailing to keep him safe and he totally calls her out on it! I was so cheering him on at that point! Thank goodness he isn’t an idiot!

I don’t usually mind the instant love factor. I am all about the true love, soul mates, OTP thing. However, in this book it was off. They were having sex like a day after meeting when she is dealing with all this stalker stuff. It just felt really, really rushed to me. Its difficult to believe they are in love instantly when it comes across more as lust. Sometimes this works in books but in this book, I felt it didn’t feel believable. Did it ultimately affect my love of the story? No, but it bothered me in the beginning for sure!

Rating: B

Heat-o-meter: NC-17 in the beginning but once the action gets going the sex is not as descriptive!

I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. I have always loved reading and
writing. This is my first novel in The Supernatural Desire Series. Book 2, A
Wolf’s Savage Embrace released in Sept. 2013. They are standalone novels with
recurring characters that hopefully, you fall in love with. My characters
become so personal to me and I guess it’s because you put your entire heart and
soul into them.

I first started writing as a child. On rainy days my mom and I would
“make” books. We would draw pictures and I would make up the stories.
It is such a treasured memory of mine and I believe is what gave me the bug to
keep on writing.

As a newbie author, I appreciate everyones support and love! This community of
writers, illustrators, models and just avid readers has been awesome!

I have a quirky sense of humor and so enjoy meeting and talking with people –
so, please feel free to drop me a line! I love hearing from fans!!!
Happy reading! And make sure to follow me on Facebook! And on Twitter
