Standalones that I wish weren’t standalones!

Its unusual I wish a book was a series, but there are a few. Basically, I wish these books continued on with more adventures for the couple; so, while the books I have listed might be part of a series of interconnected stand alones, I am specifically referring to wanting more of the characters from the specific book I list. I like when the couple is settled in their relationship but they might face additional external forces. Bottom line: these books had characters I loved so much I could read about them doing just about anything!

Salvaged by Jay Crownover

I don’t think I would ever get tired of reading about Poppy and Wheeler. I would love to get a whole series on them-how they grown and deal with life’s day to day struggles and triumphs. These two are such complex characters that one book just didn’t do them justice.

Silver Silence by Nalini Singh

Because bears. Seriously though, I adored Silver and Valentin and could read about the Stone Water bears forever!

Six of Hearts by LH Cosway

Jay and Matilda stole my heart. Their story was so unique and I would love to follow them throughout their adventures! Think of all the fun times they would have traveling and performing!?

Equal Parts by Emma Winter

I have raved about this book for awhile now. I was anxiously awaiting a follow up (seriously! I needed more of this book in my life). Sadly, the author has pulled the book from amazon and I don’t think she is writing anymore. I will always fondly remember this story and wish I had bought the paperback.

Are there any books you wish were turned into a series or do you tend to prefer standalones? Share with me!
