I totally missed last week’s Sunday Post. I think because it was a holiday I forgot. But, I had a great thanksgiving and my mom sent me home with a freezer full of food! Friday my husband and I put together furniture. No one asked for a divorce, so I’m considering it a success. It was NOT easy. But, now we have our new mattress and our new bed frame.

Monday was my birthday. Honestly, the Monday after a holiday is rough, so I was not feeling the birthday vibes. But also, at 45, I feel like birthdays kind of lose the excitement. I did nothing for my birthday, which was exactly what I prefer.

It was a stressful week at work. Mistakes were made by others that directly impacted me and I was scrambling trying to make it right. I shouldn’t have been scrambling because they weren’t my mistakes, but they wouldn’t have been addressed if I haven’t. So, I have been extra stressed this week and my jaw is reminding me of it. I clench really hard all day and night when I get stressed like this. I need to remember to take my anxiety attack medication when I get like this, but I seem to always forget until later. It isn’t helpful then!

Two more weeks of school then the holiday break. WOOHOO! This week will be busy-lots of meetings to squeeze in before the break, a doctor’s appointment for me, and we are still working out a new “normal” routine with the dogs now that our routine has changed.

It has been positively frigid here this week. Lows in the teens and highs of like 25 degrees. A local school district had to close on Thursday because the wind chill was so bad and their students have to use the city bus system, which requires longer walks to the bus stops, longer wait times, and transfers. Today, it was 55 degrees. Crazy!

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

Glad to hear you survived assembling furniture with your husband. LOL! I hope the new bed is nice and comfy. Happy birthday! I get what you are saying about it losing some of its excitement, but you should still celebrate you in some way. Hard to believe Christmas is that close. I hope all goes well for you during those last few weeks.
