In case you aren’t on twitter, you should check out the dumpster fire that is the RWA.

Its been a super lazy week for me and I love it. Last Sunday we had lunch with my parents to celebrate Christmas. My dad gave us his old TV and now its in my book room! But, for the rest of the week I have been in PJs and living the bum life. Its awesome.

This week I have a doctors appointment, a blood draw, and a hair cut scheduled so I will have to leave my Pjs for a bit. I am certainly not going anywhere for New Year’s Eve. That is just crazy talk!

I hope everyone had a great holiday! Here’s to an awesome 2020!

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I have been quietly following the RWA debacle since I work with authors, some who are/were members. It is very sad to see, and Sarah MacLean is right, it hurts the Romance writing industry. I am still in my pajamas! It has done nothing but rain all weekend, and it’s dark and dreary out! Have a Happy New Year Sam!!

  2. Holy RWA drama. That is a hot mess. I fully support and admire your bum life. I took my daughter to the airport yesterday morning, and have not left the house since. I did shower and get dressed, but still, being super slothful.

  3. Christmas was fabulous. We left a little early for a mini-vacation to Tahoe for some snow/sking. My son has been asking and for his present we took him. Grandparents where in town too and we had a blast with them. I bought myself some books for Christmas. Hope you continue to have a nice relaxing vacation before school starts back. Happy New Year!

  4. Glad you had a wonderful, restful Christmas and I’m with you… We are Not Going Out for New Year’s Eve and NEITHER are we babysitting. So we are going to slump in front of the TV and watch something mindless and snack. Bliss!!!
