Happy New Year everyone!! I hope 2023 is the year that brings you happiness, success, love, and everything your heart desires!

I enjoyed my last week of break. I got my hair cut and then had to have my blood drawn. The blood draw never goes well because I’m a “diver”-I pass out pretty often. We were able to avoid a full pass out this time, but I felt awful. I was sure I was going to puke, but I managed to hold it together.

I did manage to get a few things for my portfolio completed. Honestly, I just found it hard to do anything over break. I just hibernated.

I finished the year with 100 books read! Considering I was in grad school full time, started a new job, and got a puppy, I feel like that is a GREAT number!

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. It is quite a feat to read that many books given a full-time job and being in grad school. *applause, applause* It’s good you were able to get a jump on your portfolio. I was laughing when you called yourself a diver. I also tend to pass out. I think I was unconscious at least four times while they were trying to get the IV in for my surgery. It wasn’t pretty.

  2. Happy New Year! Geez yeah I think 100 books while starting a new job, attending grad school full time, and just ya know, all the other shit that comes with being in education. I’m glad you had a nice break – I wanted to accomplish a lot more than I did too, but sometimes rest is an accomplishment ! Hope you have a great week !
