So, its been a minute. In addition to being crazy busy at work, I got the flu. I’m still not feeling great, but it is getting better. I had a horrible cough that really was just awful. So much mucus. And, when you have mucus and a cough, sleep is next to impossible, so I was so tired. Its been about two weeks and my voice is still gone. I’m hoping that I get better before Monday because I am so over it. It is so awkward to talk to parents in a meeting sounding like I do. And, the more I talk, the more I cough, and my job is like 90% talking! On top of it all, I am just so tired. Partly because I don’t get good sleep because of the coughing, but also just because being sick is exhausting.
Of course I get sick during a very busy time at work. I had 5 meetings that had to be rescheduled, and I do not have any time in my schedule to mess with. We have 4 days this week and then it is spring break! Y’all, I need this.
The dogs killed a rabbit last week. I do not understand why there is still wildlife in my yard. My dogs have CLEARLY established they are not messing around. I need the wildlife to go away because I am tired of disposing of their kills (and getting them to give up their kills).
I’m hoping to get some rest this weekend. I have a lot of work to get done, but there will be naps.

I hope you get the rest you need over break. I agree about the stuffy / coughing ruining one’s sleep. I’m ok with any rodents the dogs want to kill like squirrels or voles or something. Lulu just wants the bunnies and squirrels to play with her. Our last dog was friendly with rabbits but killed squirrels which was perfect for me. I’m looking forward to Funny Story later this month.
I hope your cough will leave you and that you’ll be able to sleep properly Samantha! My mom had the same and was exhausted!

Thanks for telling us about Random Street View!!!! I’m surprised at how much of the world looks like Arkansas. LOL What is the most interesting or odd or unusual or amazing thing you’ve randomly seen on there? I just saw two donkeys along the side of the road in Botswana so that was pretty exciting. lol

Yeah you never know w/ the animals.You’d think the rabbits and whatnot would know better.
Oh no! I’m sorry you’ve been dealing with that! I know that when I bought my adjustable mattress frame it totally helped to be able to sleep sitting up. But yeah, talking does NOT help with the cough. I hope you are enjoying your spring break! We need it this time of the year!

oh no you are sick? I am so sorry to hear that! I hope that you start feeling better soon though. Being sick really affects being able to do basic things.
