Tomorrow is the day the doc removes the packing from my ear! It will still be a few more weeks before we can determine if there is hearing improvement but this is a big step. Fingers crossed!
I’m having lunch with my dad tomorrow after my appointment! Yay!
Other than that, my week is another low key one. Thank goodness! I am not ready to go back to work yet. This past week has been dangerously hot. We were under a heat warning for 5 days. It’s been awful. This week is suppose to be a little better-highs only in the mid to upper 80s.

Yay for getting the packing out. We’ve been having horrible heat too, but it did cool down starting Thursday and it was “cool” enough that it wasn’t completely horrible out by the pool. If it’s in the 100”s you can’t get out of the pool you just have to float around in it.
I just bought my copy of Lies by Kylie Scott. It sounds so good! It’s been a long time since I read Iris Johansen, but I used to love her books. I’ll have to get back to reading her. Hope you enjoy Smoke Screen.

Good luck at the doctors. I hope there is only good news. That’s nice your dad is having luck with you. Have fun! And, stay cool! It’s humid and oppressive here too, and like you, I am looking forward to those temps in the 80s.

Excessive heat and bugs- two of my least favorite things about summer haha! Why can’t it just stay like in the 70’s/ low 80’s???
