This Week’s Book Haul:
Non-Bookish News:
We are down to the last 38 days of school (who’s counting, right?). Its gonna be busy. State testing, AP testing, graduation preparation, exams. These last 8 weeks are a SPRINT! Pray for all of us!
I enjoyed my spring break. The weather, not so much. Monday I woke up to snow. Then Tuesday is was 74. Then Tuesday night, the storms came and the temperature dropped to 35. It stayed chilly and rained the rest of the week. It certainly did not feel like Spring Break! But, it gave me lots of excuses to stay in bed and read 🙂
Blog Ahead Update: So, this week I was actually really productive and able to get 10 posts scheduled! This helped me fill up April and get a good start into May! GO ME!
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!
I’m glad you enjoyed your spring break despite the snow! Thankfully, we didn’t get as much as was forecasted by the weather, so I was very happy about that! Good luck with the last few weeks of school! 🙂
Glad you enjoyed your spring break, minus the weather! Hopefully spring decides to stick around soon 🙂 Best of luck for the next 8 weeks of school!
10 posts ahead, that’s amazing! Way to be productive. The yo-yo weather is making me nuts, though we were spared snow this week. Only 38 days to freedom. That’s awesome. Good luck with the last part of the school year. I remember how crazy it can be!
10 posts is awesome! So great to be ahead, I really need to get busy with that but maybe next weekend. 🙂
Have an awesome week, Samantha! Happy Reading!
Snow. I can believe it. We were high 70s all week, then rained Saturday. Woke up to some cold weather today. No snow though. Look at all of those yummy new releases. LOL And 40 posts ahead. I’m like half that. Good job. We don’t get time off for spring break anymore. All of our kids are grown so we just work on through. That’s okay with me as I get to choose my extra vacation date myself then.
I want to read The Thief but it’ll need to wait as I don’t have the book budget to buy it this month 🙁
Glad that you enjoyed your Spring Break. Snow just will not quit, it snowed here Friday and yesterday. Have a great week!
Spring break week was disappointing here too- at least weather- wise. It was 20 degrees here last night! Ugh. 38 days though- you’re right, the school year IS winding down very quickly! Can’t believe how fast this year has gone by…
Yay for getting ahead! I love having a blog cushion. And have a super week!
Glad you enjoyed your spring break! The weather sounds like ours. Ugh. Enjoy the new books.
I’ve been hearing that everyones spring breaks where a bit odd. The weather sure is weird this year. We had a nice Spring Break, just one full 24hr day of rain rain rain. I didn’t get to read or write any reviews, but me and my boy did a lot of activities.
Enjoy your new books and happy reading!
Certainly sounds like it will be busy until the end of school. Ugh spring break weather here was bad too. Hope you enjoy your new books and have a great week!
Glad you had a relaxing spring break, even if it wasn’t a warm one. And yay for school almost being over! That couple’s workout video was great, haha.
Glad you had a nice break besides the snow.
That workout video is hilarious. I would NEVER try those. LOL.
Hope you have a great week!
Yes this weather has been crazy!!
Bunches of these books look awesome! Especially the Cassandra Clare and The Surviving Girls. Enjoy your week!
I totally get it but a little more than a month to go is nothing, and then before you know it you’re gonna do it all over again.. I’m exhausted just thinking about it tbh. I can’t wait for The Thief even though I haven’t read The Chosen yet, I wanted to be able to binge the two back to back so I waited a whole year, crazy right?!
LMAO on the couple workout. Thanks for the great giggles. The weather is so weird here too. Wow seems like you are going to be really busy with finishing up school. Thank goodness you got a lot of blog ahead done. Lot of black shirt covers for new releases.
Happy Monday
JoLee
There were so many amazing looking books that came out last week. It looks like you were able to snag some really good ARCs. I can’t wait for All the Little Lights to release. It sounds so good! I hope you enjoy all your new books. 🙂
That’s awesome that you were able to catch up on posts and get so many posts scheduled in advance. I keep saying that I’m going to do the same thing and I never do. Gah. Oh well.
I hope you have a wonderful week, Samantha and that you read all of the great books!
I love Queen of Air and Darkness’ cover! SOOOOOO gorgeous! But I actually lost interest in Casandra Clare… and I feel sad. I enjoyed her Infernal Devices series but I only read the first 2 book of the Mortal Instruments series.
Our weather sure has been weird. When it’s sweltering this summer, I’ll be wishing for the cold weather back. Good luck with the last six weeks of school. Can’t believe it’s that time of the year again!
