Non-Bookish News:

We are down to the last 38 days of school (who’s counting, right?). Its gonna be busy. State testing, AP testing, graduation preparation, exams. These last 8 weeks are a SPRINT! Pray for all of us!

I enjoyed my spring break. The weather, not so much. Monday I woke up to snow. Then Tuesday is was 74. Then Tuesday night, the storms came and the temperature dropped to 35. It stayed chilly and rained the rest of the week. It certainly did not feel like Spring Break! But, it gave me lots of excuses to stay in bed and read 🙂

Blog Ahead Update: So, this week I was actually really productive and able to get 10 posts scheduled! This helped me fill up April and get a good start into May! GO ME!

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I’m glad you enjoyed your spring break despite the snow! Thankfully, we didn’t get as much as was forecasted by the weather, so I was very happy about that! Good luck with the last few weeks of school! 🙂

  2. 10 posts ahead, that’s amazing! Way to be productive. The yo-yo weather is making me nuts, though we were spared snow this week. Only 38 days to freedom. That’s awesome. Good luck with the last part of the school year. I remember how crazy it can be!

  3. Snow. I can believe it. We were high 70s all week, then rained Saturday. Woke up to some cold weather today. No snow though. Look at all of those yummy new releases. LOL And 40 posts ahead. I’m like half that. Good job. We don’t get time off for spring break anymore. All of our kids are grown so we just work on through. That’s okay with me as I get to choose my extra vacation date myself then.

  4. Spring break week was disappointing here too- at least weather- wise. It was 20 degrees here last night! Ugh. 38 days though- you’re right, the school year IS winding down very quickly! Can’t believe how fast this year has gone by…

Yay for getting ahead! I love having a blog cushion. And have a super week!

  5. I’ve been hearing that everyones spring breaks where a bit odd. The weather sure is weird this year. We had a nice Spring Break, just one full 24hr day of rain rain rain. I didn’t get to read or write any reviews, but me and my boy did a lot of activities.
Enjoy your new books and happy reading!

  6. I totally get it but a little more than a month to go is nothing, and then before you know it you’re gonna do it all over again.. I’m exhausted just thinking about it tbh. I can’t wait for The Thief even though I haven’t read The Chosen yet, I wanted to be able to binge the two back to back so I waited a whole year, crazy right?!

  7. Rowena

That’s awesome that you were able to catch up on posts and get so many posts scheduled in advance. I keep saying that I’m going to do the same thing and I never do. Gah. Oh well.

I hope you have a wonderful week, Samantha and that you read all of the great books!

  8. I love Queen of Air and Darkness’ cover! SOOOOOO gorgeous! But I actually lost interest in Casandra Clare… and I feel sad. I enjoyed her Infernal Devices series but I only read the first 2 book of the Mortal Instruments series.
