This Week’s New Releases:

What I Found Online:

Have you checked out Nick’s new blog, The Girl with the Happily Ever Afters? If you are a romance junkie like me, you need to check it out!

Non-Bookish News:

I am so close to spring break I can taste it! I have 4 days next week then sweet, sweet freedom! However, I have so many things that must get done over spring break that I will be spending it working. But, at least I can work from my bed in my leggings!

I am still sick 🙁 I just can’t seem to get over this chronic cough! I am hopeful that its finally on the way out. I actually slept a ton this week (like, I mean 20 hours in 1 day!) so hopefully the cough will be gone soon!

No new news on the house front either. Sigh. I am hopeful everything will work out but I am also crazy impatient with things. This is a lesson in patience for sure!

My husband has been binge watching Daredevil. I’m okay with it because I don’t feel bad about reading when he has a show to watch! He knows TV isn’t really my thing because of my hearing loss. Even with the sound turned up loud I have trouble understanding what is said so I don’t really enjoy it much. Sometimes I watch stuff with the closed captioning on but that gets annoying at times (I mean, have you ever tried it? Sometimes it crazy frustrating!!). Do you binge watch TV shows? What do you binge on?

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Hey, pretty books this week!!! Patience sucks but you’ll be glad you didn’t jump on the first house or first loan. You know all that junk. Besides, it’s getting warmer and it’ll be nicer out to go looking at houses soon!!

I’m like you, I don’t watch tv so I’m no help on binge watching. I read and compute right next to the hubs while he watches hockey, baseball, tennis, golf… the list goes on… 😉 Go Red Wings!!! Tee, Hee!!

    Have a great week!!!

    • Yes, I know that we will be happy with the housing decision once its made. I just like things to be settled. I really don’t do well with the unknown! But, it is what it is!
      Have a good week!

    • We don’t have kids so that isn’t an issue for me. But, we do have dogs and sometimes they decide that they are more important than my book. They have been known to smack it right out of my hands!

  2. I didn’t realize Nick had a new blog! (I’ve been soooooo far removed from everything lately.) I’m really excited to go check it out. I’m jealous of your spring break! Haha. I wish my office did that, but it wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense if it did. I’ll just (im)patiently wait for my SUPER long weekend at the end of the month and the day trip to NYC that goes with it. Hope you can shake that cold soon and that you have a great week!

    • I love Nick’s new blog because all I read is romance! I love finding more romance bloggers! I always tell people with regular jobs I don’t know how they do it! Seriously, if I didn’t have all the snow days, breaks, and summers off, I would not survive! I could never do a normal job!

  3. I have the same chronic cough, I can’t seem to make it go away, it’s driving me nuts and I feel so tired lately.
Last show I binged watched was Fuller House but I don’t watch TV either, I just can’t seem to care enough to watch the show when it is on but I can binge watch it later on Netflix it’s much for fun that way 🙂

I hope you have a great week! Happy Reading!

    • Yes, binge watching is like the only way to go! I want to be able to get whole seasons at one time! Netflix is such a great invention!
Sorry to hear you have the chronic cough too! Its miserable! Hope you feel better soon and have a great week!

  4. Wow! You must’ve really needed the sleep if you slept for 20 hours in one day! Feel better soon 🙂 And yay spring break!

I just don’t watch much TV period. I keep up with a few shows, and that’s it. I don’t have Netflix or any other service, and I barely get any channels with my cable package, but I don’t really have time for TV anyway and find it hard to really connect with shows. I’d rather be reading! At least you get to read without guilt while your husband watches TV 🙂

    • Yes, we don’t have cable or anything. Just netflix so I have no idea what is even on tv anymore. Except for The Big Bang Theory. I love that show! And it is nice to read without guilt! I don’t know what I would do if my husband was upset about my reading habits!

  5. I hope you feel better soon! I work at home sometimes and it is so comfortable being in sweats instead of having to dress up for the office. Everyone seems to be watching Daredevil except for me lol. I have to do some binging on Netflix to see what I’ve been missing. I’ll be starting Gingers Heart this week and I can’t wait to read it. I’ve read all of Katy’s books so I’m sure this will be good. I hope you feel better and have a great week!

  6. I really hope the cough is on its way out of your life! And spring break! That’s going to be amazing, even if there is still work to do 😉
I’m glad you had plenty of four star reads last week, it seems like a good reading week! I need to check some of those out, I’m trying to get into reading more romance. Have an awesome week!

  7. I hope the cough has left by now, Samantha! And that you’ll be able to enjoy your spring break even if you have some work to do. My spring break started this afternoon, and my, it is needed! Both the kids and I wanted to celebrate at lunch-time 🙂
Have a fantastic rest of the week and happy reading.
