Non-Bookish News:
My birthday was Wednesday so that is always fun! Things were super busy at work between finishing an IEP, touching base with teachers about exam modifications, and dealing with a student in crisis. I will be very excited for Christmas break for sure! 2 more weeks!
My husband got an offer for a new job that he is really excited about! His current job has TERRIBLE hours and he works so much (and he is salary so he works 70 hours a week and doesn’t get overtime). So, I am happy he will be happier and hopefully home earlier each night!
Last night I had to spend the evening chaperoning the Christmas Dance for work. Luckily, I love my job or it would have really sucked. Spending a Saturday night at a high school dance was my idea of hell when I was in high school and its not much better as an adult! But, I love my coworkers and we actually had a pretty good time!
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!
I need to check out your review for Butterfly Code. A lot of people are recommending I read it. Nice books this week. I spy one or two I’d like to try.
Yes, the Butterfly Code has the potential to be really popular! Its unique and well written!
You got a great book haul! Happy reading!
Stormi

Thanks! I am excited to have so many awesome things to read over Christmas Break!
Oh, you got Built! Lucky you 🙂 I hope you’ll enjoy My Kind of Wonderful as much as I did – I enjoyed everything in that story 🙂
Have a fantastic week and happy reading.
Yes, I am so lucky to have gotten built! I love Jay Crownover! I am hoping I enjoy My Kind of Wonderful too-I want to like her books! Everyone raves about her so I am hopeful I will find a book of hers I enjoy!
