Non-Bookish News:
Friday was the last day for my seniors and it was crazy. They had a lock in on Thursday night, so Friday they were all slap happy in the morning, then exhausted all after noon (because they didn’t get any sleep). Next week we still have a full week of school for the underclassmen though. Its gonna be a challenging week trying to keep them focused until the end of school when Friday was kind of a party day.
Its been a pretty boring week otherwise! Only 4 weeks until we leave for our Europe trip. I haven’t even really had time to think about it with the craziness of the end of the school year. The weather was pretty warm this past week too! The dogs and I played outside every day but Friday. By the time I got home on Friday it was storming like CRAZY.
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

How exciting to look forward to your trip! Enjoy the preparations…and then the journey.
Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
THAT BOX LOOKS FUN! I LOVE SUBSCRIPTION BOXES, ESPECIALLY BOOK ONES! AND YAY A TRIP TO EUROPE, THAT SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO. HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD WEEK.
I love Romance Reveal. The Bookworm Box is another one I subscribe to as well and normally its pretty good!
So exciting going to Europe! Have a great week ahead.
The romance reveal box is awesome, hon. Yay, so happy for you. These books sound great, especially The Watcher. Looking forward to your review. I’m curious about it.
Have a wonderful week and happy reading, Sam. ?
Hope you get through next week quickly so you are closer to your trip!! It was warmer here too which was nice. Enjoy your books and have a great week!
I hope the time flies for and you and then your off on your trip. It looks like you ahve plenty of good books to read to while away some of that time.
Have a great week and happy reading!
I’m sure it’s hard to concentrate on much once the end of the year gets so close. Yay for the European countdown, though!
Ah last day for seniors! How fun (for them lol). It’s been alternately warmer and a bit stormy here too, although the storms have mostly been at night.
The Darkest Corner and The Watcher both look good! And mysterious…
Hope you have a good week and enjoy the new reads. 🙂
Yay for warm weather and only one more week of school! But, question, what is a lock in?
A lock-in is an event where the students report to school by a certain time (in this case 8pm) and they stay at school all night. They play games, watch movies on the theater size screen in the fine arts center, etc. Its like a school wide sleep over.
You’re so lucky, I still have a little more than a week to go and then it’s beach time!
The box looks like a lot of fun. Happy preparations for your trip!!
The countdown is on… for end of school and your trip… so exciting! I just got back from a week away and it already feels like ancient history. LOL
Argh. I need to get Lord of Shadows but I haven’t even got time to read it at the moment!
Enjoy prepping for your trip! 4 weeks isn’t very long to go!! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Oh I’m jealous of those seniors! Summer is on for them! I bet the underclassmen are jealous too! Yup I bet it was hard to make them focus this week! Oh I can’t wait for that vacation in Europe. I almost feel I’m the one going !
