Have you read all the well known authors who write these guys (Kristen Ashley, EL James, Jodi Ellen Malpas, Harper Sloan, and Aurora Rose Reynolds-if you haven’t read these ladies, start there for sure)? Here are some of my recommendations for some awesome authors who write alphas that maybe you haven’t read yet!
Nalini Singh (specifically her Guild Hunter’s Series)
Singh’s Guild Hunter series has some smoking hot angelic (literally) alpha males! Raphael is very possessive of Elena and his love is deep! He wants her in constant contact with him so he knows she is safe in their very unsafe world. Its very hot!
M. Robinson
I have only read a couple of her books, but she writes some seriously alpha men! Growly and possessive is a key component in her heroes. And, most of them are tortured heroes too! Her hero’s can lean a bit more towards the alpha-hole side (you know, the alpha asshole)!
Maya Banks
Ok, so if you haven’t read the KGI series, those are bad ass security guys who get all alpha on their women. Then there is her other, more erotic series that are filled with very dominate alphas. HOT HOT HOT!
Susan Stoker
Stoker’s military men are GOOD guys. They are alpha without being demeaning or jerkish. If you like a genuinely good guy alpha hero, these books are great.
Tessa Bailey
Do you like a dirty talking alpha hero? Look no further than Bailey! You could literally pick up any one of her books and find a very dirty talking man!
JB Salsbury
MMA fighters? Yes please! These men are manly, alpha heroes for sure! Like you guys rough around the edges and very hands on? Check out her books!
Lexi Blake
Blake writes Doms. And not just Doms but mercenaries too! As if being just a Dom wasn’t alpha enough, he is a killer too! Blake’s books have some seriously hot sex too. Like your alphas on the Dominate and deadly side-check these out.
I’ve been meaning to read something by Tessa Bailey for sooo long. Just hasn’t happened yet. A dirty talking alpha? Yes please! LOL Do you have a favorite by her that you recommend starting with?
I love the way that Lexi Blake writes her heroes, she got me back into bdsm romance, they are so well written. I have a hard time getting into Tessa Bailey’s writing, but will try out her audiobooks and see if that works better for me. Some of my favorite authors for alpha heroes are Kristen Ashley, Johanna Lindsey, Brenda Joyce, Rebecca Zanetti, Christine Feehan, and C.L. Wilson
I haven’t read too many people on this list so I’m going to keep my eye open for them. I do love alpha heroes.
