Lennox, like her sister Dekker, is working in a male dominated field and struggles to prove she is more than a pretty face. She is a tad hard headed about this drive to prove herself and she can seem cold at times. However, she has layers that Bromberg reveals in ways that are touching and endearing.
Rush is a footballer from England, and this alone makes me want to listen to this book in audio! He is hiding out with a friend in LA to avoid a scandal he has found himself in. Turns out, Lennox is staying with that same friend. These two have no troubles starting a “no strings attached” fling and it is HOT. Like Lennox, Rush has layers as well, and while he might seem like a ne’er do well, playboy athlete, he has faced huge challenges in his life to get to where he is. Both Lennox and Rush are so passionate about their professions! While the reader might not be passionate about either of those careers, you are swept away in their passion and drive.
Hard to Hold delivers another amazing entry to this series with Lennox and Rush; readers will delight in their romance and ambition because its alluring. You really can’t go wrong with this series! In all the best ways, this gives me all the Jerry Maguire vibes (you know, if it were Jenny Maguire).

I can see myself liking this one – I love that the main character is a woman in a man’s world. I think I would like her. And what’s not to like about a no strings attached affair, right? especially when you KNOW it’s going to end with them falling love *sigh*
