Ryker ended book 1 with one of the dumbest moves a man can make and of course Vaughn hears it. Now, their tenuous trust is shattered, Vaughn is on her own again, and refocuses on her goal of getting custody of her niece. The story has so much deception! Secrets, lies, cons, bribes. It was like WTF is going on. Ryker made a HUGE mistake (because for a smart guy, he was dumb AF) so you get lots of groveling. But, even that takes kind of a back seat to the numerous mysteries going on simultaneously!

Reveal handles the broken relationship between Vaughn and Ryker, the mounting danger to Vaughn, and all the blackmail with the power players in NYC. I found the conclusion of this duet to be everything I wanted it to be. Readers will not be disappointed in Reveal.
