Knowing Fey by Rachel M Storm

Jessica Anderson is a 23 year old who finds out that what she thought were myths, fairy tales and scary tales are actually real. Her new Fey lover Chad and her friends are determined to keep her safe from the man who wants her dead because of what she will become. Finding out that she is also going to be part of the fey world is a bit of a struggle, so she doesn't entertain the idea till she finds out that she is a bit more special than all the other born fey.

Knowing Fey was interesting. Its a slightly unique take on the mythology. I like that its a blend of supernaturals and not just 1 type. I think having vamps, witches, and fey all together helps keep things interesting. I thought the plot moved quickly; maybe a bit too quickly in the beginning. It felt rushed. The writing was average; sometimes the things the characters said or thought was cheesy or groan inducing but it wasn’t overly annoying for the most part. Overall, I think this was an average book. I don’t know that I am dying to get the next book or not though…I might have to think on this one a bit more! I’m not a fan of the cover either. It just seems odd to me. Anyone else?
