Her Dark Salvation
Her Dark Salvation is a paranormal mafia romance! He is a “blood demon” (aka vampire) who has been a made man in the mafia for years. He left the family he worked for and struck out on his own. But, the mafia isn’t gone.
The heroine, Anna, is 45, which is awesome for those of us who enjoy a “middle aged” heroine sometimes! I appreciated her experience. She is a smart woman working in a male dominated field, and I really connected with her previous experiences. I too changed my life path based on what others said-“Thats going to be really difficult” or “You hate talking in front of people, why would you want to do that job”. Marco was a good hero as well-not great, but that was more because I had trouble connecting with him. The plot that is woven into the building romance is about corporate espionage and embezzlement. I thought this was interesting! Anna creates statistical models to determine what should be happening, and the compares it to what IS happening to figure out where the issue is occurring. Her Dark Salvation was a bit slow in its pacing (for me), but was interesting and engaging. Readers who enjoy a more mature cast of characters will love Anna and Marco!
