Nick Bailey is a ruined man.
Once an NFL star, he thought he had it all. Fame. Money. Respect. After losing everything to injury and scandal, he fell from his pedestal, becoming the most hated man in town. Picking up the pieces of a shattered life is harder than it looks, but Nick is tired of being the brooding loner. He wants to move on.
Jenna Moore was born to perform.
She loves the high she gets from being on stage, singing in front of a crowd—even if it’s just at the local bar on weekends. Everyone assumes she wants the rock ‘n roll dream—the stardom, the crowds of adoring fans. But as much as she loves to sing, fame won’t fill the hole in her heart.
Nick has watched Jenna for months, desperate to love her. But the ghosts of his past still haunt him. Could a woman like her ever want a man like him?

All Men Fall is the story of a former NFL star, back in his hometown, running a landscaping business, and a girl who is happy to work in her parents flower shop and sing in a bar on the weekend. While Nick had big dreams and was famous for a bit, Jenna wants none of that. She is really happy to stay in her small town and sing on the weekend. However, her parents want more and they push her to talk to a music exec in LA.

Nick steps up to play hero for Jenna from her crappy boyfriend, who is an alcoholic douche. Things progress pretty fast for Nick and Jenna. Then Jenna plans the trip to LA and doesn’t say a single thing to Nick about leaving. Kind of shitty on her part, so I was totally with Nick on this one. I felt that Nick was more open with Jenna about his life and his struggles. Overall, I think I liked Nick more. His story really was compelling and interesting. Nick was so eloquent in his wooing tactics, including his messages. Jenna had her moments (the cards), but I really did feel that Nick was the character I loved more! This was a good debut book. I am curious about Nick’s sister, Aran, and am looking forward to her story.
