The Four Horsemen is an urban fantasy series with a reverse harem twist. Prepare to follow the lives of Vee and the Four Horsemen through addictive books filled with action, supernatural suspense and magic. Start the series with Legacy and discover why readers have fallen in love with the books--and the Horsemen! The series slow burns to steamy scenes, has a kickass heroine and four guys who'll do anything for the girl who's the centre of their world.
This book is written in British English, which means some spelling and grammar may appear incorrect to some readers. The book has been professionally edited.
Reckoning is the finally book in the Four Horsemen series and you MUST read them in order! Now, I don’t want to give too many spoilers but this book does wrap up the series.
We have been leading towards the big battle between Truth and Chaos. However, there are some new players that arrive in this book that tip the balance. Its not clear if the balance is tipped for or against Vee and the guys though. Allies are lost, gained, and murdered. There were some revelations about the horsemen that were unexpected. I didn’t expect this book to have many new “oh my goodness” moments. I figured it would be mostly the major battle and the aftermath. However, there are still lots of twists and it really did surprise me.
If you like PNR (Fae, Demons, mythology) and steamy reverse harem (no slow burn here!), The Four Horsemen series is right up your alley! The narrators are fantastic….well they were fantastic until they tried to do an American accent. It was so distracting I fast forwarded through parts. YIKES. (Dear Lord, please tell me that isn’t how Americans really sound to English folks?!)
