Sunday Post

Welcome to this week’s Sunday Post. This feature is brought to you by The Caffeinated Book Reviewer, so swing by after you are done here and get the full list of participants!

What I Reviewed:

Did you see that Amazon has 99 Romances for 99 cents?! Grab yourself some books!

What’s Coming Up:

Happily Ever Ninja by Penny Reid
Legend by Katy Evans
Call Me Maybe by Elle Cahill
Let it Be Us by Barbara Speak
Jockblocked by Jen Frederick
Island Summer by Jessica Randolf
Rescuing Rayne by Susan Stoker

This Week’s New Releases:

Open Giveaways:

Signed Copy of Blind Reality and Swag!
$50 Book Retailer GC!
Shirt of choice from Ladies Sports Fanatic!

What I Found Online:

If you haven’t checked her out yet, you really need to look at Ashley over at Noze Graze! I just signed up for her CSS course! I’m really excited (and a bit nervous-to say I am a CSS newbie is a major understatement!)

Twisted Sifter posts drawings of movie titles with 1 letter removed. Pretty entertaining!

Amazon is going to open more brick and mortar stores. I’m not sure how I feel about that (because I don’t go to actual bookstores anymore! I have Prime for a reason!)

This Week’s Book Haul:

Legend by Katy Evans
Cuff Me by Lauren Layne
Wherever it Leads by Adriana Locke
The Wedding Pact by Katee Robert

Purchases: Yes, I went a bit nuts this week! I had some gift card money and some of these books went on sale. When I grabbed Red Queen, it was only $2.99!!! I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to snag it that cheap!

Non-Bookish News:

Oh, some weeks I really question my desire to be a teacher. This was one of those weeks. Spring break is far away, IEP meetings are happening several times a week, and the kids are getting antsy because we have only had 1 snow day all year. Throw in parent teacher conferences and it was a trying week.

I got a few workouts in at least. I get up at 5:15 am and get on the elliptical for 10-15 minutes. Its not a lot, but its something. I’m trying to add the weight training when I come home. This week I have been getting home from work later that usual and I haven’t felt like doing anything!

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I’m so ridiculously excited for The Wedding Pact! I loved that first book. At some point, I need to read a Katy Evans book too.
I’m sorry about work being a little rough. I hope things calm down this week for you. That’s great that you’ve been waking up early to workout. That’s how I’ve been working out and it’s pretty wonderful.
I hope you have a lovely week and happy reading! 🙂

    • I do enjoy going into bookstores when I’m out and about. I just don’t typically GO out! I’m a bit of an agoraphobic. And, I seem to prefer ebooks now!
