Non-Bookish News:

I got the flu 🙁 It has been a pretty miserable week! I hate missing so much work as well. I was so sick I didn’t even feel like reading! At least I am feeling a bit better and will back to work Monday!

Today is another day of looking at houses! I am feeling a little better about the whole process but still waiting for something bad to happen (I can’t help it!).

The weather has suddenly turned NICE! It snowed several inches on Sunday and then by Friday it was 60 degrees! Welcome to Ohio!

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Ooh you got A Rogue Not Taken! I love that book! It’s a little angstier than Sarah MacLean’s books usually are but I love it!
I’m sorry you got the flu! That’s not fun at all. 🙁 I hope you do feel better, Samantha!
Have a lovely week and enjoy all the new books!

    • I’m excited for A Rogue Not Taken! I have been slowly collecting Sarah’s books as I find them on sale. I am finally starting to feel a bit better today so thats good!

  2. So sorry you got the flu! I’ve only had it once as an adult and it’s so awful. Hope you’re feeling better soon. I really want to read Sarah MacLean. I’ve really enjoyed the one book I’ve read and even though I own several more I’ve yet to read them. Have a great week!

    • Yes, I have only had the flu one other time. It is not something I want to repeat! I have only read one Sarah Maclean book but I loved it so much I have been slowly snagging her books as I find them on sale!

  3. I’ve probably asked this before but I’ve forgotten: where in Ohio are YOU?? I’m originally from the Cleveland area (Parma born – grew up in Strongsville), went to Ohio State, and my brother lives in downtown Cinci so I’m Ohio-worldly 🙂

That’s awesome you’re doing Ashley’s course!! I want to do it, too, but I need to ask her if I should do that class or jump to her other, older course b/c I have a bit of CSS background. I’m currently doing an Adobe Muse course and I have another Thesis course. I want to know everything so I can decide what the best way to go is!!! Either way, that’s awesome you’re learning!!! Welcome to coding world!!

  4. sorry to hear you got the flu but… HOUSE HUNTING!??? there just a few things better than that so hopefully that’ll cheer you up!
Please read soulless first! I’m in love with the cover. Not sure why but I’m obsessed now with the series, especially that book 🙂
oh no no no no you did not post a freebie post! omg! I’m supposed to be in rehab! ok off to check it out now 🙂 [I have zero willpower 🙂 ]

  5. Jen

I finished reading The Power by JLA and it was SO good! I adore Seth! I’m so sorry you were sick and got the flu, but here’s hoping you are feeling a ton better this week! LOL, our weather is the same out West! We had 2 feet of snow over the weekend and today it is supposed to be 63, YAY! Hopefully both of our weathers will continue to stay nice, fingers crossed!
