@imallentsaiDid you know that for ENCANTO…
This week was so long! My allergies are extreme right now. I’m super congested, my balance is off, and my skin is painfully itchy. I can’t believe it is already April!
So, our human resources director stopped by to ask me about being a school psychologist. She said they are having a terrible time finding someone to replace me. She said she thought I was extra good at what I do because of my education background. I said I would let them know if I heard of anyone who was looking. She said she was trying to get the superintendent to make some changes to the pay scale and stuff. If they had asked me about this and were willing to make some changes, I might have stayed. I mean, I’m glad they are realizing changes need to be made in order to get/keep employees.
But this week was bananas! So much chaos. Schools are always crazy this time of year, but there are so many closed door meetings, angry teachers, and out of control students. If you know anyone who works in a school, give them a hug or chocolate or wine. Trust me, they need it.
We took the puppy to the groomer on Saturday. He was looking rough! Plus, the weather has been rainy, so he was pretty muddy as well. Of course, it is suppose to keep raining this week, so it won’t be long until he is all muddy again.
Our other dog, Calleigh, is sick. She started puking one night, then wouldn’t eat the next day. She started to eat some stuff on Friday so she is kind of on the mend. She has always had a sensitive stomach. Hopefully she will be back to normal soon.
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

Sounds like the end of the school year is rough for all involved. I hope the next several weeks pass quickly. Allergies seem to be off the charts this year. Even my husband, who has never had issues, is suffering. I’ve had to double up on my allergy meds a few days.
Allergies can be so annoying right? Especially as we enter into spring and all the blossoms haha Hopefully your meds can help if you take though. I am really jealous you are getting so much rain. I love the rain haha Looks like some fun releases this week. I am looking forward to the Rina Kent and Donna Grant. Have you read that series by Grant yet? It sounds really fun.
Oh I hope your dog is feeling better soon! And that’s interesting about the school. Good that they want to make changes even if it’s too late where you already leaving…
I can only imagine being a teacher! all that stress…
Hope you get some relief from your allergies! I do think teachers or anyone in education deserve a gold medal along with some wine and chocolate. My pick would be wine! Have a great week!
Sorry that your allergies are acting up. I have really bad allergies too and they are not fun to deal with.
I always have the utmost respect for teachers Samantha! And I hope that your new school will treat you right!
I hope Calleigh is feeling better soon! It’s so hard when the dogs are sick and can’t tell us anything about what might be wrong. And yes, I know what you’re saying about schools right now for sure! My clerk will be starting inventory later this week or the beginning of next week. Of course at my last library we never really did inventory, at least not a required thing. And I didn’t do it last year because of having to pack my library up for remodeling. Here’s to a less crazy week!
