Happy Easter to those who celebrate! I get a long weekend for the holiday. Friday I went with a friend and her kids to see a butterfly exhibit at the conservatory and then to the art museum. It was fun! Her kids are great.

We are in the home stretch at work! The last day for the kids is May 25, and my last day is June 8th. I have several evaluation meetings coming up and a few kiddos to finish assessing. Then I have to pack everything up and move out!

It’s also getting close to graduation. I have a meeting on Tuesday about my portfolio defense. I have all the documents completed, I just have to create my official e-portfolio and prepare my presentation. I will defend sometime in May. I have enough hours in my internship so this is the last piece of the puzzle.

Calleigh is feeling better this week thankfully. She is getting older, so I freak out when she gets sick.

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Yes, the home stretch for sure with school! Our kids go till May 26th, which kind of sucks for me because I always go to Branson with my family for Memorial Day weekend, and even though it is a half day, I won’t get to Branson till around dinner time since the teachers have to stay for a little bit after the kids leave. My last day is June 5th, but I signed up to do summer school to save money for my trip, so I won’t be done with school till the end of June. You’ve got a lot going on with graduation too! Hope you have a good week!
