I’m still a bit sick. The coughing persists. That’s always the worst for me. Since I’ve entered middle age, it feels like no matter what illness I get, I end up coughing for weeks after. Hopefully this week is better. Turns out, a LOT of teachers were sick as well. We had several people out throughout the week. We have a few kids with COVID too.
Monday I had a follow up with the ortho doc. Everything is going well with my shoulder. No pain and really no range of motion issues (sometimes reaching up my back is a bit painful, but that is an extreme range of motion).
Work is amping up for me. I had meetings every day-some for new students to the district, some to review district information. Plus, I have a mentee again this year, so I had to touch base with him. Next week I start doing assessments. At least we are off on Monday!
Friday I came home to lots of book mail!! It was a delightful surprise!
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

Yay for book mail. I really hope you feel better but the germ factory is in full production. Enjoy your holiday weekend.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
I am glad everything is going well with your shoulder Samantha! And sorry to learn that you are sick! We also do have COVID cases here.
I hope you get well soon. A nagging cough can be tiresome and disruptive to your life.
Ooh, I’m jealous of your physical copy of Save You! I’m still debating if I want to buy them for my bookshelf or not since I’m reading the e-galleys. I’m also eager to see your review of the Ruby Dixon book. I need to start that series, although I do need to finish or get farther in the Ice Planet Barbarians books too. Sorry about the sickness. Isn’t that the way it always is! School kids get us all sick.
