Well, I got my snow days!!! We got about a foot of snow, and for SW Ohio, that is significant. We got Monday and Tuesday off, then got a 2 hour delay on Wednesday. Friday, another round of snow was coming, so we were off on that day as well. It has also stayed below freezing (well below), so all the snow has stuck around. We paid someone to shovel one side of our driveway so we could get out! I loved the extra time off. Its one of the few perks of education (cause it certainly is NOT the pay or the parents).
All those days did make the 2 days of work more difficult. There is alway so much to do when you come back from a holiday. It took pretty much all of Wednesday for me to remember what I needed to do!
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

I love snow days but we didn’t get many in MN as they are super prepared and have all the right equipment. We only got about an inch but lots of freezing rain here. I hope it finishes melting today. Lulu is not a fan.

I am glad that you could enjoy your snow days Samantha! We got snow here too!
Oh, wow! Back to back snow days after the break. EEK! Glad you were able to stay home and safe out of the nasty weather. I would have cried if it snowed that much here.
Yay for snow day! We haven’t had any snow here yet, just rain. Have a wonderful week, Sam!
Growing up in Arizona I was always envious of snow days, so congratulations!!!!!
I wish we did the late start so we could have had a couple days this week instead of the whole week off. Not that a whole extra week of holiday break wasn’t nice! You already got your special edition copy of the Penny Reid book? I’m so jealous! But I guess it doesn’t actually come out till the end of the month, so it makes sense why I’m waiting. Hope you have a good week!
Pleased to hear you got your snow days – it helps to ease back after the Christmas break. I hope the coming week isn’t too hectic.
I’m glad you got your snow days, and a second long weekend as well.
Wishing you a great reading week
