eARCs thanks to the authors and publishers:

Monday I had my follow up with my gynecologist and she added a new supplement to my routine. Then I went to the eye doctor. My contact prescription didn’t change, but she did say I could go up to 1.75 in readers. I have been struggling a lot with fatigue. My allergies have been really bad as well. I’m taking 2 allergy meds (zyrtec at night and allegra in the morning), plus nasal spray and allergy eye drops. I’m getting 7-8 hours of sleep at night. But, there are times I can’t keep my eyes open during the day. Like, I HAVE to take a nap because my eyes won’t stay open.
The rest of the week was a blur of heat and sweat. It was in the upper 90’s all week and we felt every bit of it. We are also in a bit of a drought now, and it looks like there won’t be any rain until at least Thursday. And the dogs still want to be outside in it all the time. They want to just sunbathe on the black foam padding we had for the pool; because 90 degrees isn’t hot enough.
Saturday we drove up to my parents house (about an hour away) to visit. It was nice to see them. Thankfully traffic wasn’t too bad for a holiday.
This week should be pretty quiet. I don’t have any appointments this week. It is supposed to be in the mid to upper 80’s (so a little cooler). I’m still watching Chicago Fire. I’m on Season 7 and enjoying it. The video game I play (Disney Dreamlight Valley) has a new addition coming on Wednesday, so I’m excited for that as well.
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

NC is having the hot and dry but I went north. Enjoy your quiet week this week.
I wish my eye doctor would tell me which reader level to buy. I feel like I’m guessing, lol. We had the miserable heat last week too. Supposed to be a tiny bit cooler this week. Hope you have a good week!
I hope the supplements help. I feel you on the dry eye. I just finished laser treatments to try and help, but $1400 later, my eyes are still dry. I did lipiflow ($1000) several years ago, that didn’t work for me either. We can clone an animal and 3D print organs, but we can’t help dry eye or post nasal drip. Stay Cool!
