I finished my last year of teaching! Woohoo! It was a tough week, but everyone survived. It is weird to think it was my last time teaching, but I am so excited to move on to my new role as a school psychologist.
We have professional development all this week, so I have to make sure everything is wrapped up, cleaned up, etc. My coteacher still hasn’t come back to clean out her stuff. It has gotten SUPER awkward because the local paper publishes the minutes from the school board meetings and it was published that her contract was not renewed (that means she was fired). I’m just glad I won’t have to deal with her soon.
The puppy is exhausting. Seriously, how did I forget how exhausting a puppy is?
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!
Congratulations on finishing your last year of teaching and your career change!
I am so happy for you Samantha!!! I know hwo teaching took its toll on you for these last years so that’s amazing! And yes puppies are exhausting but they also are so cute!
It is thrilling you have succeeded and are achieving your goals. Yes puppies are exhausting which is why we chose to only rescue young dogs. We knew we weren’t up to a puppy.

Congrats on your new role and I wonder if the fired teacher WILL come back to get her stuff.
Congratulation on your new role. Sounds wonderful. I remember having a puppy years ago. Wasn´t fun to go out every two hours to teach this young thing that it had to pee only outside *smile*
Congrats on entering a new position! Yep, puppies have endless amounts of energy! Have fun, lol! 🙂
