Well my sinus thing turned into a big deal. Friday I woke up feeling miserable. My head was totally clogged up and I had a nasty cough. I couldn’t miss work though because I had meetings all day. So I powered through with a lot of cough drops and Mucinex. It was not pretty. I’m hoping I’m back to at least 75% by Monday. Its going to be a long week coming up. I have class on Tuesday night and parent teacher conferences on Thursday. Also, we get a $500 bonus for each quarter we don’t miss any days of school. Only in education do they bribe people to come in sick because there is no one to cover.

Our power went out Friday night. There are some really high winds here. Then sometime Saturday afternoon, we had no running water. There was a water main break down the block. So, its been kind of a wreck over here.

I’m almost through with my binge of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. What should I binge next???

Things have been busy at work. I have so much to do! Plus I need to really get cracking on my portfolio assignments so I can officially graduate and stuff. I’m kind of putting off thinking about it until I feel better. I can’t handle sickness and grad school and a full time job all at once.

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Wow, $500 to not miss? The best I’ve gotten is an extra jeans day from not missing school for a month. Which hasn’t happened yet this year. But with still trying to get my library unpacked, I’ve worn jeans since I get hot and sweaty and have just waited for someone to say something. I bought the new Tom Felton book. Does he narrate the audio though? I’d probably want to listen to it if he does! Have a good week!
