Kiss of the Black Flame (The Bookbinder's Bargain Book 1)One of Us Is Guilty: A Novel

Short work weeks always feel so long. This week was no different! Another busy week at work. I had my intern with me on Wednesday and Friday, and a student observer on Thursday and Friday. Honestly, it was a lot. I’m finding that it is difficult to get work done while having them because I feel like I need to be teaching. It’s hard to teach some things! Like, I just need to write some reports.

Also, there was drama this week about a student who is out on suspension and the admin team in our school and at the district seems at odds about how to handle his return. I kind of got stuck in the middle and the whole situation make me feel icky. My building admin came to talk to me and tell me she felt icky too and that she never wants me to feel like that. I love my building admin for so many reasons, so I am always gonna be on their side.

The weather was a bit better this week. We had a couple hot days, but overall, it wasn’t nearly as bad as the 100 degree days we had previously.

Friday night I woke up in the middle of the night with a stomach bug. It has been miserable. Hopefully it goes away quickly.

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!
