I left for Spokane this morning, so it might take me a day to visit everyone’s Sunday Posts! I am going there for school. As part of my online program, we have to spend 3 days a year on campus for trainings and such. Last year it was cancelled because of Covid. This year I will be there through Thursday for crisis management training. As an educator, crisis management training is always difficult. Thinking and planning for all the terrible things that could happen is not easy.
I will be slammed with work when I get back. I have so many evaluation meetings! But, I am still enjoying my new role WAY more than teaching. My teacher friends are already feeling burnt out and I hate that for them!
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

I hope you have a great week at training. It’s great you figured out a new role which will be so much better for you!
Not a great sign to see teachers feeling burnout this early, but I am glad you are still very excited with your new role. Safe travels, and I hope you enjoy the onsite classes. I found the in person exchange was always really invigorating.
I hope your time in Spokane goes well! And it’s so good to hear that – even with being so busy – you’re still enjoying your job. Safe travels home!
Good luck doing the Spokane adventure! Glad work has still been a good experience for you. I am happy that you got the new Feehan. I am SUPER excited to read that one as well. The cover is so stunning.
Good luck for your training. Sounds interesting. And safe travels.
I’ve not been around in a while but I knew you were getting ready to start a new job so I’m happy you’re enjoying it way more than teaching! It may be a lot but it’s great you’re enjoying it.
