Drake.
A dangerous, ruthless man who rules a billion-dollar empire with an iron fist. A man impossible to best, with no vulnerabilities. But when he meets the beautiful, gifted artist Grace Larsen, he learns the cruelest lesson of all … that feelings kill faster than bullets.
Grace Larsen lives alone inside an ivory tower of art and beauty, needing no one and nothing, Then her path violently crosses Drake’s—and as danger and passion flare, her life as she knows it shatters.
Suddenly, she is Drake’s weak spot—and a target for his bloodthirsty foes.
Their passion could cost them their lives.
Dangerous Passion has a sort of stalkerish hero that only works in books. In real life, it would be an episode of Criminal Minds. The two main characters are also certainly an opposites attract couple-Grace is very innocent and Drake is an arms dealer. Like all her books, this is steamy for sure! The insta-love was a little cringy for me in the beginning, but it passed quickly. Grace just seemed to accept all that was happening-I felt like she should have been more cautious or surprised. Obviously with his profession, there is no dearth of danger in the plot! He has plenty of enemies. The ending was a bit unbelievable (yes, I know it’s fiction). I struggled with the ending of book 1 as well (it felt too abrupt). However, I think I enjoyed Dangerous Passion more than Dangerous Lover, so that’s something!
