Marquita Valentine has quickly become one of my 1-click authors. Love So Perfect was another reason why I love her books! Austin is a famous QB who was video taped behaving badly and shipped off until the scandal dies down. He goes to his tiny hometown in NC and meets elementary teacher Harper. He begins to see her and decides to use her to improve his tattered image. Of course Harper has no idea and-surprise, surprise-gets her heart broken. While there is no plot twist, major “holy s#!t” moment in the book, its still great. Why you ask? Because Austin and Harper are well written characters, their relationship is still interesting, and you can’t help but care about them. The book is sweet (Harper is a 30 year old virgin) and predictable but I think it really is a Love So Perfect!
