Murder in Matrimony is book four in the Lady of Letters series. I have adored every single book in this series! Amelia is a widow who is raising her deceased husband’s niece under the watchful eye of his aunt. She also writes an advice column in a paper under the pen name Lady Agony.

We pick up with the wedding of Amelia’s wild child sister. The first problem to arise is the murder of the vicar who Amelia was close to. She is determined to find out what happened, even when everyone else says it was just a random robbery. She must attempt to solve the murder while her family is in town for the wedding, and that will be the real challenge! Her attempts to uncover the murderer put her in real danger and it takes her friends and family to help her out. She also has a blackmailer who is threatening to expose her secret double life. Its a lot for one Lady to handle. I love her family because they are so loud and loving! I love her best friend because she is supportive and kind. And of course, there is Lord Bainbridge. The romance is not the focal point-it kind of hovers in stolen moments in the background. Those glimpses made it very swoonworthy! Overall, this book was another delightful edition to the series that I can’t say enough wonderful things about!
