Oh so many things are RIGHT about The Consequences of Revenge…
1. Its funny as hell, y’all! First, I will never eat gummy bears again. Second, I totally want a goat. Third, I also want a gecko.
2. Max is awesome. Hearing his inner monologue is just awesome because he has some pretty crazy ideas. He makes this book work. I have never been a fan of the reality TV genre, especially ones like the bachelor. But, Max makes it work and I wasn’t sure it would.
3. Becca is more awesome than I ever could have imagined a contestant on a reality TV could be. She is honest about being there because she needs the money and that she finds the idea of finding love on TV insane. I also liked her vulnerability. She doubts herself and Max and it came across very real. I love that in a book! Hearing her voice the things that I know a normal person in that situation would be thinking made the whole book awesome for me.
I could go on. I am not going to because I want you to discover the awesome for yourself and not spoil it for you!
Really, this book was perfect. Except, I liked The Consequences of Loving Colton better. I don’t know why exactly, but book 1 will be on my all time favorite books for a long, long time. So, this book is amazing, but personally, I liked book 1 a little bit more (So, Revenge is a 5 star and Colton was a 5+ star-both amazing!)
