Non-Bookish News:
Its parent teacher conference week at work so on Tuesday I will be at school from 6:30 am until 9:00 pm! That is a seriously long day!
My students are still reading Conversion by Katherine Howe and they are (for the most part) enjoying it! We even get to ask her some questions when we finish reading. I will be including some of their reviews on the blog too!
looks like a productive week 😀 and its really awesome that your students are reading Conversion by Katherine Howe, I recently started to enjoy her writing myself.
Yes she was a new to me author! The English teacher I work with decided this book would be more accessible than The Crucible (and she is SO right)!
I ALWAYS feel bad for the teachers on Parent/Teacher conference day! You’ll have to reward yourself some way on Wednesday!!! Hang in there!!!
Awww thanks!! My reward is we are off on Wednesday (its Veterans day!) so yay for us!!! It will be the only thing getting me through such a long day (teaching all day followed by meetings all night is tough!)
Your list of books sounds really good. Enjoy and have a great week!
Thanks for stopping by!

I’ve had my eye on Designed for Murder by Avery Flynn for a while. I’ll have to come back and check out your review. Good luck with the conferences. That’s a long day.
Ah, conferences, how fun. 😉 That’s cool about you planning to share some of their reviews. I look forward to that. Have a great week!
I love what you’re doing with your students, to have them talk to the author and write reviews!
I hope the parent teacher conference goes well 🙂
Have a good week!
Thanks!
