Nothin’

Who knows? I have been off my game lately!

This is me!

eARCs thanks to the authors and publishers:

Yesterday was my birthday! I didn’t do anything. My husband forgot until he saw it on FB. Ah, getting older.

It was a busy week at work. I am trying to squeeze in a bunch of stuff before the Holiday break. So, lots to do! The weather was super cold on Monday and Tuesday, but thankfully it warmed up a little after that. We had a near dog escape on Friday, but luckily it was stopped in progress. It had been raining a great deal and they tried to wiggle under the fence.

We got a $1000 water bill right before Thanksgiving. Typically, the bill is $50-60. I’m still trying to sort it out. They said for the past 8 months its been estimated and this one was actually read. But, I’ve lived here for 6 years and never had a bill over $100 (when we filled the pool). So, yeah, that has been a major stress. Plus, all my student loans are in payment now, and that is an extra $800 a month I do not have. I’m glad to be doing a job I enjoy and I don’t regret going back to school, but we now have more bills than money.

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Um, that is insane on your water bill! That can’t be right!!!! I know what you mean about starting on student loans again. Of course they come out of the same paycheck that my mortgage does, and so that one always is rough part of the month. I ended up with a job that I don’t like as much as my last one, but am making more money than I did, so I guess I gave up one for the other. But I’m happy that you’re liking this job better. I need to read on in that Katee Robert series for sure. I’m behind, I think only up to the 3rd or 4th book. Hope you have a good week and get that water bill sorted!

  2. Introvert charging station! Love it

    Happy birthday!!!

That’s… quite a water bill. I’d be stressing out too! Hopefully they realize it’s an error and correct it without too much hassling…
