Another week of nothing! Sorry!

Birthday Book Purchases (all on sale):

eARC thanks to the author and publisher:

My birthday was Thursday and I got some great things from my students. They colored so many wonderful birthday messages, they sang Happy Birthday, one of them got me a mug and a bracelet, and a former student got me an aromatherapy kit! It was so sweet.

Otherwise, the week was just long. Trying to get to Christmas break is all that is on every teacher’s mind. The kids get a bit wild, everything is a bit harder than usual, and everyone is so tired! I also have 3 IEP meetings coming up!

This is finals week for grad school too, so I am up to my eyeballs in work. But, once Christmas break hits, I won’t have to worry about it all for a bit. Well, except the Praxis exam. I take that on New Years Eve.

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Sounds like you had some thoughtful students making your birthday special! My daughter-in-law is a teacher and she hates IEPs if I’m remembering correctly. Good luck with them.

I enjoyed Dream Keeper as well!

  2. How nice that some of the kids remembered your birthday. 🙂 But the countdown to Christmas break is definitely on! I don’t get a Christmas break but I am taking off the week of Christmas. I am so over work at this point. LOL
