Nora Roberts is a queen!! Seriously, sometimes people are so rude and entitled. She is having none of that! Check out her blog post!

Nothing

I made it through the last week and am officially on spring break! I’m still not feeling great though, which is a bummer. I have tried everything I can think of to try and get healthy again, but this cough will not go away. Hopefully a week of rest will help. I’m not planning on doing anything during spring break.

Once I get back to work, we only have about 8 weeks until the school year is over! Most of April is taken up with state testing, and then May is party time. I only have 13 evaluations left to do and I am super excited about that! I think I want to find a job this summer. We could use the money. But, I don’t want to do retail or fast food or anything. So, I’m not sure what will be an option.

Dean (one of our beagles) ate the tray in his crate. So, we had to order another one. I’m hoping we can start transitioning them from their crates for at least the day time. I know he is destructive because he is bored. Thankfully, we had another crate we could use for night time (they are not ready to be uncrated at night). He and his brother Sammy also escaped again. Its been awhile since that has happened, but it is still just as annoying. It was extra frustrating because I am still sick and chasing them down is not good for my cough.

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I’m so sorry you are still not feeling well. It’s hard to rest when you have a cough. When I did I used Robitussin tablets which last 8-12 hours so I could sleep. They are a little hard to find. Or Delsym liquid. Because you need to sleep. Your adventures make me ever happy to have only one dog and no puppies.

  2. I hope your cough will soon disappear Samantha! And maybe still get some holiday, even if you need the money, you also need the rest.
