What a week! I spent at least 3 hours every night after work writing reports for work. I’m never usually THIS behind, but during the day I am scrambling to get testings and meetings completed, so I have to write reports at home. I’m not a fan. As a former teacher, I am totally used to working after my contract hours. But, 3 hours every night is wearing me down HARD. Friday we had a snow day, which was good because I really needed the break, but I had SO MUCH to do Friday. I had testing that I HAD to finish, and observations that needed done. So, really, it just pushed off everything until next week. No end in sight.
The snow was nice at least. We got a few inches, so the dogs had a little fun. Ranger is the only one with lots of fur, so he doesn’t feel the cold that much. The other dogs certainly do!
I finished my binge of Law and Order: SVU. All 22 seasons! I had seen all the ones up to probably season 16 (not too long after Stabler left). But, of course, it ends on a cliffhanger, and because of the actor’s strike all the tv shows are delayed this season! Hopefully it comes back soon. And hopefully so does Criminal Minds! Oh, and Young Sheldon. I need my shows back.
So, I did some some books read and reviewed this week. Considering the week I had, that was a shocker. They were both reviewed a little behind schedule (because they were with pr companies) and that just reminds me why I don’t sign up to review often.
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!
Three hours post school is a LONG day. I hope things slow down for you. The new Bailey book looks fun. Can’t wait to hear what you think.
What a nightmare having to work such long hours! I’m hoping that’s a temporary thing and you aren’t having to work an extra 3 hours every night as that’s not sustainable. I’m impressed at you watching 22 seasons of SVU! I always do a rewatch of long shows and lose interest around season 8.
I hope this week and beyond give you more balance. At least the snow day maybe helped you with the tasks normally done at night.

We got that same snow around the same time as you! I got some pretty pictures of it like yours. Hope things have calmed down a bit since you posted that. I can’t believe I didn’t get here to comment before now!
