Technical question: I am unable to post comments on Blogger. I tried using my name and website and I get an error code, I tried using anonymous and get the same error message. What is up??

I can’t believe it will be July by the end of the week! Summer always goes too fast for me. I have to report back to work on August 1st.

I’m saddened by the overturning of RvW. I know it will put many girls and women into impossible situations and my heart hurts for them. While I think my state will soon outlaw all abortions, I know there are some states that won’t and that gives me some hope for women in need. I hope that as a country we can come together and elect problem solving leaders in all levels of government. For me, its not just about abortions, it’s about human rights. This is a slippery slope.

My final quarter of classes starts tomorrow. It will be nice to not having to work and do classes for a few weeks. However, getting anything done with a puppy around is a whole other challenge. This is how he sleeps when he is really worn out.

We finally got the pool functional. I’m very happy about this! I just need a shelf (its an above ground pool without a deck) to put my phone and drink on. Also, I need to remember to take a towel out with me. I keep forgetting and having to drip water through the kitchen on my way to get a towel.

That was my week! Pretty chill overall and I am trying to soak up every chill day before the chaos begins again.

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I’m so glad to hear you are having a bit of a break before classes and then school starting again. I had that problem with Blogger briefly yesterday. After I refreshed the page and logged in on the comments, everything was fine again. It happens sometimes when I clear history or empty recycle or some maintenance stuff. I hope you figure it out. I am furious about Roe, particularly for ectopic pregnancies, and miscarriages which never had a viable baby but will now kill mothers.

  2. For blogger comments, have you tried erasing your cookies or using a different web browser? I haven’t personally encountered that problem, but when something weird like that is happening in my experience those 2 things often resolve it (using a different browser working typically means you need to clear your cookies).

Enjoy some true time off! And yeah, very disappointed by RvW especially since I live in Texas – one of the leaders in this madness.

    Anyway, have a great week!

  3. I am not sure exactly what is going on with blogger, sometimes I can’t comment either but then I will try again a few hours later and it works haha I think they are having some major glitches in their commenting platform maybe? Looks like you have had a good week there. It is also crazy that summer is going by so quickly and we are about to enter July. Hope you have a great week!

  4. Blogger has been giving me fits for months now. They are so frustrating. The news about Roe last week was devastating. And you’re right about the slippery slope. We already know that Clarence Thomas wants to go after contraception (seriously?!) and same-sex marriage. The unchecked power of SCOTUS is frightening.
