Ok, so not so much what I found online, but I am having issues with Bloglovin’. When I get to my feed, I see like 1 day of posts, even though I haven’t logged in for a week. Does anyone know how to fix this? Like, why won’t it just show me all the posts from all the blogs I follow? I like how easy Bloglovin’ is, but I know I am missing so many posts! For example, today, I log in and my feed has only posts from today and yesterday. So, like 8 posts.

What other services are better than Bloglovin’? I think I tried Feedly a while back and it was ok.

eARCs thanks to the authors and publishers:

I can’t believe March is nearly over! I got a stomach bug last week, so I was down for the count for 2 days. I’m feeling a bit better, but not 100%. My allergies have been bad as well, so I think that is why I might not feel great too.

We are getting close to state testing at school. I hate it for many reasons, but it is part of the job until someone in charge changes it. So, for the next three weeks it will be a frantic scramble to cram as much prep into my students as possible.

I get my 2nd dose of the vaccine on Friday! I know most people who got their 2nd dose of Moderna didn’t feel well, so I am anticipating feeling crummy on Saturday. I just hope that someday soon, people won’t have to wear masks. It is making life so difficult for those of us with hearing impairments.

I have 2 job interviews coming in up April and I am excited for both of them. So, send me all the good luck vibes you can please! My current school is RIFT-ing teachers. They haven’t said anything to me yet, but I don’t want to wait until the last minute to find out I could lose my position. I have only been at the school for 1 year, so I am the low man on the totem pole for sure. They haven’t said much to anyone except for those in positions they are cutting entirely; I do not want to be surprised so I am hedging my bets and applying for positions.

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

Samantha

  1. I can’t even log into my Bloglovin. I have been using Feedly, and I really like it. I am shocked state testing is a go. Is that everywhere or just your state? My dad had Modern and had no problems. I hope you have the same experience. Good vibes coming your way. Hope all goes well with the interviews.

  2. Sorry about the stomach virus. Those are awful. I am not looking forward to allergy season.
My husband had Moderna and I had Pfizer. I am hoping he doesn’t have any issues but he was good with the first one.
Good that you are being proactive for the job. I hope you are able to find something, sending you all the good vibes I can!

Have a great week, Samantha! Happy Reading!

  3. I used to like Bloglovin but for some reason I don’t seem to get regular updates anymore and I haven’t really been using it. And same here with March- it FLEW by.

We’re the same here with tests- they’re coming up in two weeks I think. And congrats on the vaccine!!!

  4. I love Bloglovin’ and have never tried Feedly, though I think I might need to. For some reason it has stopped showing a lot of blog posts. My old blog stopped appearing in June of 2020 and no matter what I did or how many times I reached out, my posts never showed again. Then I noticed a blog that I had been following hadn’t posted in a while…. low and behold they’ve been posting all along, but their posts don’t show up either. It’s frustrating to say the least!

  5. My husband and I didn’t feel good at all after the second dose, but it was like a 24-36 hour thing that goes away. Hope you don’t feel too bad! I feel it was worth the pain. Good luck on your job interviews!

I’m currently reading Flight and loving it. Hope you do too. 🙂

  6. Sorry to hear you caught a bug – are you all recovered now? – and I hope the second vaccine dose wasn’t too bad? I’ve heard the second dose of the vaccine (irrespective of what one you get) is the worst. 🙁
I have both bloglovin and feedly and I much prefer feedly. It’s so simple and I can create blogger lists which I love.
    Good luck with the interviews!
