This Week’s Book Haul:
Non-Bookish News:
Tomorrow I have to go back to work (spring break has ended) but the countdown to summer vacation is on! Only 4 weeks until school’s out for summer!!
Saturday I am going to my younger cousin’s wedding. I was her nanny when she was a kid and now she has kids and is going to be a bride. It makes me feel very old!!
The hubby and I went to Ikea this week while I was on break. I love that place, but I really love it when its a weekday and its totally not busy! I got an adorable daybed for my reading room and Dave got a new chair for the living room. Overall, it was a successful trip. We haven’t been in years so it was fun to go and spend a few hours (because you cannot get out of that place in less than a few hours!)
Other than the Ikea trip, my break was low key-exactly what I wanted. I took the dogs for walks, I binged some tv, I napped, and basically did whatever I wanted. It was exactly what I needed!
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!
Oh, I love weeks like that, Samantha, and my Easter hols was very similar; I got so many books read and blog posts written that I had a glow of self-accomplishment for days. I like going to Ikea too but not for the furniture, it’s the meatballs that call to me! Lol!
My countdown to the end of school and summer is longer here in the UK. We’ve got a week’s half term break at the end of May then it the last push until school finishes at the end of July.
Hope you have a good week.
When I go to IKEA Samantha I always end up with way more than I planned! OK I wish you a good return to work this week. Just four more weeks!
Yay for a low-key Spring Break. Tons of energy sent your way to last you the last four weeks of school.
Only four more weeks and then plenty of fun. It sounds like you had a busy week. And I love Ikea! I usually allow time when I visit too.
I’m so glad you had a lovely spring break. We don’t have an Ikea here. There was a plan for one but it fell through. I think the closest one is 3 hours away (each way) so it would be a long day trip. Have a great week back! Do you get to take the summer off?
Here is my Sunday Post
Oh no back to school… At least only 4 weeks left. That time will fly by. That’s nice you had a good low key Spring Break.
Have a great week.
Our nearest IKEA is hours away, but I do like browsing their catalogue.
Have a great reading week
I love IKEA, it’s so affordable. I love their Billy Bookcases. So easy to put together. I hope time goes by quickly for your summer vacay time.
That countdown will go down quick, hopefully! IKEA sells some nice bookshelves!
I’ve seen a lot of people rave about Prince on Paper. I’ll have to check it out.
Sounds like you had fun! I love Ikea!! We have two very close by, so I go there often. Not even to buy something, but just because it’s just fun to look. 😀
Have a great week and happy reading!
