Top Ten: One Click Authors

Posted August 6, 2015 in Top 10 Tags:

Ok Disciples! I have decided to kick off my top 10 series with this:

The Authors I One click

These are authors that I will ALWAYS buy, sometimes even before I read the blurb!! You know, the authors that you stalk online, talk about to anyone who will listen, and share on every social media site you are on.

10. Jennifer Armentrout/J.Lynn

I started my journey with JLA when I picked up Wait for You. I was hooked!!! I finished that book and promptly 1 clicked the rest of the series that had been released at the time. Then I started on Lux and again, 1 clicked the rest of the released series. Jennifer has an impressive assortment of books that span PNR, contemporary, and YA. There is something for everyone (even if you think you won’t like PNR, you would probably enjoy JLA’s version of PNR!)

9. Shelly Crane

I discovered Shelly Crane when I was using Oyster. I stumbled upon Significance and was blown away. I gobbled up that series in like 2 days. Then I found her Devoured series and finished that one super fast as well! Her books are PNR for sure, but they are unique and I really enjoyed them. She does have some books that aren’t PNR as well. I read Smash Into You and enjoyed it (although, come to think of it, she does sneak a little sci-fi in there!)

8. Dannika Dark

Ok, I am starting to see a trend here. I apparently really enjoy PNR! Dannika Dark’s Seven Series totally stormed into my life and took over. When I started reading, she had released 4 of the books and I dove right in. Currently I am impatiently waiting for Denver and Maizy’s story. Seriously, I have wanted their story from the 1st book on!!!!! I thought for sure she would save theirs for last but thankfully she spared me!

7. Cambria Hebert

Oh my gosh I don’t even know how I found #Nerd, but I am so glad I did! That book quickly became one of my all time favorites. Sadly, at the time I discovered it, that was the only book released. This series is still ongoing and I hope she never stops! Its amazing!!

6. Janet Evanovich

My mom got me hooked on the Stephanie Plum books. We are up to like 21 or 22 now. While I haven’t enjoyed the books as much as of late, I will still one click them on release day to check in with some of my all time favorite book characters. I also love her series with Lee Goldberg! Its similar to the Stephanie Plum series in many ways, so if you enjoyed that, you’ll enjoy the Fox and O’Hare books!

5. Cassandra Clare

The City of Bones was one of those books that at first, I was’t sure I really liked it. I didn’t hate it or anything, but I didn’t jump right in to the next book. I eventually picked up book 2, and from then, I did not hesitate! I loved this series and am so glad she is spinning it off. I really enjoy her writing style!

4. K.C. Lynn

I stumbled upon the Men of Honor series quite by accident on goodreads. Book 1 was free at the time and I’m never one to pass up a free book! I didn’t read it right away and it sat on my kindle until a school break. Fighting Temptation was one of those books that I wish I would have read right away. I loved it so much! I snatched up the rest of the series and preordered the book that wasn’t out yet. She just started her new spin off series and I one clicked that as well (and its just as awesome!)

3. Cora Carmack

My first Cora book I found on Oyster. I fell in love with Losing it! It was funny and I really connected with the characters. I found that Cora’s writing style was really engaging to me and she wrote characters that I totally connected with. Then she started her Rusk Series. Hot football players? Um, yes please!

2. Rachel Van Dyken

My first Rachel book was the Eagle Elite series. I discovered it over Christmas break and read it all in 2 days. Thankfully she is still writing books in the series because I never want it to end! #TeamNixon all the way!!!!
Then I found out that she is also an amazing romcom writer! The Consequences of Loving Colton is hands down one of my favorite books of all times. When people ask me for my favorite books, its one I always mention!

1. Amy A. Bartol

I feel like a total stalker when it comes to Amy Bartol. I found the Kricket series on KU and fell in love so hard I wouldn’t stop talking about it. Seriously, people at work were totally sick of hearing about my obsession. Then I discovered her Premonition series and the fangirling started all over again. Sorry to everyone in my life who has had to endure my obsession. #notsorry

So, who are your 1 click authors? Have you made your own Top Ten list? It was harder than I thought!!! Share in the comments, on FB, Twitter, or TSU!
