Harmony Mayson isn’t the kind of girl to take unnecessary risk, but after meeting Harlen MacCabe, she starts to wonder if maybe she should be. The more time she spends with the wild and free biker, the more she starts to crave the freedom he gives her... And even more, she starts to crave him.
Harlen lives his life on his own terms. After losing both his parents at an early age to a robbery gone bad, he knows how precious life is, and he’s determined to get as much out of it as he can. When he runs into the beautiful Harmony and finds out she’s moving to town, he knows it’s time to take his shot. She thinks he only wants to be friends, but she couldn’t be more wrong.
What Harmony and Harlen don’t know is that their time might be cut short. Revenge is in the air, and someone won’t stop until a debt is settled.
Until Harmony is the story of Nico and Sophie’s daughter, Harmony. She has just finished her degree in nursing and moves back home to be closer to her family (the infamous Maysons!). You really don’t have to have read the parents’ books or even the other books in the Until Her series to enjoy this. They all stand alone perfectly fine.
Like all books in the Until series, this is a story of true love and insta-love, aka ‘the boom’. Harmony is a planner. She has a plan for everything in her life and deviating from that plan is not acceptable. This made Harmony really relatable to me. I understood that! She liked knowing and having a plan means having control and knowing. There is comfort in that for lots of us (especially those of us with anxiety disorders and/or OCD…just saying!). Harlen likes Harmony instantly, but recognizes the fear in her over the idea of deviating from her plans. So, he plays it smart and becomes her friend. It was sweet and endearing and made their relationship even more solid.
The story is very low angst so don’t expect a lot of danger and climatic moments. Its a sweet, sexy love story that I devoured in one sitting. There is a bit of drama/danger at the end but its minimal and quick. If you want a story that focuses on the couple and love without the drama and angst, Until Harmony is a wonderful pick for a weekend read.
Note: I can’t NOT mention this. At the hospital, there is a “Dr. Hofsteder” and a nurse named “Amy Sheldon”. Seriously!! If you are even 1/2 the Big Bang Theory fan I am, you get this! I was scouring the book looking for other possible names. I didn’t find Penny, Bernadette, or Howard. Oh well! I’m not sure if the nod to TBBT was intentional, but I have to think it is. Its too much to be coincidental, right?

This sounds really good! I’m a planner, so I think I’d like Harmony. Love the “AmySheldin”thing too, I’d be looking for more names too. Lol.. Glad you enjoyed this one.
