From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cathryn Fox comes the scorching Blue Bay Crew series, that follows the sexy, blue collar Owens men who take over their family’s construction business in the small town of Blue Bay, CT.
Jamie Owens doesn’t trust women. Especially not the rich, entitled women looking for a summer fling with a boy from the wrong side of town. But one look at Kylee Jensen in a tiny bikini, and Jamie decides that some rules are made to be broken.
Kylee is tired of being the obedient daughter, and Jamie—shirtless, in a tool belt—is the perfect opportunity to do something for herself, so she hires Blue Bay Construction to work on her cottage. Their hot summer days turn scorching until it’s revealed that Kylee has ties to Jamie’s dark past, forcing them to decide if their dreams, and their relationship, are worth fighting for.
Leveled is a steamy page turner with sizzling emotional intensity and an ending that will hammer readers’ hearts and never let go!
Leveled is book 2 in the Blue Bay Crew about a group of brothers and cousins who move back to their small home town and start a construction company. Their town, Blue Bay, is filled with lots of vacationers who are typically well to do. Jamie meets Kylee (one of those well to do vacationers) and they start a torrid romance. Kylee is your ‘poor little rich girl’. Daddy won’t let her go into fashion design and is making her join his law firm. Jamie has a chip on his shoulder the size of Alaska when it comes to rich girls. Doesn’t stop him from have dirty sex with Kylee though.
Frankly, I didn’t like either Jamie or Kylee. I thought they were both so trite. I gave up on the book at the 30% mark because I couldn’t care if they ended up together or not.
I thought book 1 in the series was okay. I didn’t LOVE it but it was readable. However, I don’t think I will continue with this series. It just isn’t really GREAT and there are so many GREAT books out there.
This sounds like it might have been pretty good. Doesn’t sound like it turned out that way though. Sorry it wasn’t as good as you were going it would be!
Yeah, I wanted to give book 2 a shot even though I didn’t LOVE book one. I think I have realized I just need to give up on this series. I just can’t connect with the characters at all. Oh well-plenty of books in the library, right!
oh wow…this sounds pretty disappointing here!! It is pretty hard when neither of the characters do anything for you. Hope your enjoying your current read. 🙂
